Transmission Bearings

With high engine power and frequent load changes, the standard transmission mounts, which are usually designed for comfort, can tear. In addition, the soft material causes a delay, since the force first goes into the gearbox bearing. Our hard (steel/aluminium and PU) or rigid (aluminium) gearbox mounts from Fameform, IRP, MRT Engineering and PMC Motorsport solve these problems. The harder material means that the power transmission is more direct and the gearbox bearings are more robust so that they can withstand the stresses of racing. They simply replace the original BMW gearbox mounts and fit the original screw points.
