Hardy Discs

Cars that don't have the engine above the driven axle need a propshaft to get the power from the engine to the wheels. So that this does not beat uncomfortably, so-called Hardy discs are used as vibration dampers. However, due to age and heavy loads (due to increased engine performance and strong and frequent load changes), these begin to crack and tear. Even when in perfect condition, the soft materials of the standard Hardy disc, designed for comfort, delay power transmission. Our reinforced Hardy discs from IRP and Silverproject solve these problems. They are made of aluminum with polyurethane (PU) bearings and therefore transmit the power directly and consistently.
