40% SHORTER SHIFTING DISTANCES

The shift lever is significantly longer and mounted higher. This not only ensures a brutal racing look. In this way, it moves much closer to the steering wheel, your shifting distances are reduced by 40% and gear changes under load or when cornering become child's play.

All bearings are coated with Teflon so that these short switching paths are also extremely precise. An integrated shift lock for reverse gear protects you from shifting gears. With freely adjustable gear stops, you can also lock the 5th or 5th and 6th gear and release them via the shift lock. Perfect for a quick shift from 2nd to 3rd without the risk of hitting 5th.

A return spring also automatically pulls the shifter to the center position, giving a more direct feel when changing gates while shifting up or down.

LIGHT, STABLE AND EASY TO INSTALL

The use of high-quality aluminum for the lever and frame and stainless steel for all screws guarantees minimum weight with maximum stability. The shifter fits on all vehicles in the Mini R53 and R56 series with 5 and 6-speed gearboxes with the original shift cables on the existing screwing points. With the R53, the more stable shift cables from the R56 must be installed (part numbers: 25 11 2 753 893 / 25 11 7 594 647).

The installation only requires the removal of the exhaust system and heat plates. The center console also needs to be modified. The rest of the drive train remains unaffected.
