REINFORCE AND REPAIR

This set was specially developed for the well-known weak points of the E46 rear axle carrier mounts, which tend to give up even during normal driving. The result is a torn out rear axle, up to and including the entire trunk floor. In racing, this damage usually occurs after a short time.
This weak point is eliminated with the reinforcement plates and damage that has already occurred can be repaired.

DETAILS

A major reason for the well-known damage to the rear axle carrier mounts is rear axle carrier bearings that are too soft. These allow the rear axle too much room to move during load changes, which puts an additional heavy load on the body structure. For this reason, we recommend going through the bearings of the rear axle carrier when carrying out the repair harder or stare to replace bearings.
