Factory differential bushings tend to be soft for comfort and provide a degree of play in the linkage. As a result, gas commands are transmitted sluggishly, since the force first migrates to the bearing. With harder bushings, throttle commands are given directly and without delay to the rear wheels.
Especially in drift and racing, these components are exposed to extreme loads, for which the OEM parts were not designed. Of course, the IRP differential suspension bushing set made of PU can withstand much more and thus reduce the risk of failure during competition.
