HIGH-PERFORMANCE RACING TECHNOLOGYThe new 4-way adjustable KW V5 Clubsport offers the latest GT3 motorsport technology for the sportiest road vehicles with sports tire setup for use on the racetrack and on the road. The entire chassis design of the KW V5 Clubsport coilover kit with its uniball bearings on the front axle, racing springs, upside-down MacPherson struts and rear axle dampers is designed for the use of semi-slick tires on near-series vehicles.
The body structure remains perfectly supported during aggressive steering maneuvers and extreme compression. Thanks to the adjustable multi-valve technology, the KW V5 Clubsport dampens bumps and relatively large transverse joints cleanly. Even when cutting curbs, close-to-production sports cars remain safely controllable with the KW V5 Clubsport coilover kit. The height adjustment options allow the wheel loads to be adjusted. The aforementioned setting options, combined with the separately adjustable compression and rebound damping technology (SPCLH-A & SPRLH-A technology), enable individual setups to suit the vehicle weight, the tire characteristics, different track conditions and operating conditions - thanks to multi-valve technology and parts certificates, the KW V5 Clubsport coilover kit can also be used on public roads.
In contrast to vibration dampers with overflowing working pistons, we use a valve arrangement that is separate from the damper inner tube and piston rod for KW coilovers and KW dampers with displacement piston construction (KW Solid Piston Technology). As a result, the KW V5 Clubsport with adjustable KW SPCLH-A (KW Solid Piston Compression Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) compression damping and the KW SPRLH-A (KW Solid Piston Rebound Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) rebound damping offers significant added value: more sensitive damping, cavitation-free function , high-frequency damping, low-pressure gas range from 6 to 10 bar and low hysteresis - all this to enable a completely new type of harmonic damping.
