IDEAL FOR RESTORATION

With our damper set for the Corvette, it is always possible to individually adjust the driving behavior to your own personal driving requirements. As with every KW chassis development, our adjustable dampers for the Corvette are also a vehicle-specific application. The Corvette equipped with the adjustable KW dampers has much more direct handling, is less unsteady and has significantly more grip on the rear axle without increasing the tendency to oversteer. Even the residual comfort increases.

With the integrated compression and rebound adjustment wheels, it is easy to individually adjust our recommended basic damper setup. For example, the rebound stage with its 16 clicks allows you to directly influence the handling characteristics and driving comfort. The driving behavior of the Corvette can be further increased if desired with the compression valve, which can be adjusted in twelve clicks. A higher compression stage on the front axle enables even more direct steering, and higher compression stages on the rear axle counteract oversteer. Due to the degressive valve assembly of the preconfigured high-speed compression valve, the deflection behavior is positively influenced when driving over bumps suddenly. The wheels can deflect abruptly, preventing jumping over curbs, for example.
