The adjustable upper wishbones from MRT Engineering allow you to adjust the camber on the rear axle. In this way, you can again achieve the camber values ​​recommended by the manufacturer on lowered vehicles or adapt the camber to your specific needs. Due to the production of high-quality aluminum, they are particularly light and thus reduce the unsprung mass. Stable uniball bearings on the sides of the body ensure that bumps in the road are transmitted perfectly and unadulterated to the chassis and enable the axle geometry to be set particularly precisely.

With the included adjustable stabilizer bars, the hardness of the stabilizer can also be easily adjusted.

Straight shot: Particularly high rigidity; for E36

Angled recording: More clearance to the body when compressing; for E46 or with a very low E36

WHY YOU NEED THIS

The factory wishbones do not offer the option of adjusting the camber of the rear wheels. After a lowering or in motorsport, however, this is absolutely necessary in order to restore the values ​​recommended by the manufacturer or to adapt the chassis to the conditions on the track. Especially when using a coilover kit, the camber must also be adjusted accordingly whenever the vehicle height is changed.

The Uniball bearings used not only offer a more direct connection between the steering knuckle and the rest of the chassis. They also enable a much more precise adjustment of the axle geometry, since, in contrast to the soft OEM rubber bearings, they do not allow any play in their connection and you are therefore always on the move with exactly the values ​​that you have set.

DETAILS

To use these wishbones, your vehicle must have a chassis with spring struts (combined shock absorbers and springs) installed on the rear axle. To use the OEM stabilizer, the mounts on the stabilizer must be cut off and the weld-on mounts included in the scope of delivery must be welded to the stabilizer.
