STIFFER, MORE DIRECT, BETTER

The standard wishbone bearings are very soft for reasons of comfort. However, this has a strong influence on the response behavior of the front axle. The uniball bearing creates a much stiffer, but not rigid, connection between the wishbone and the body. The result is a much more direct response when turning.

MORE TRACK - MORE DRIFTING FUN

The compatible front axles do not offer the possibility to adjust the trail ex works. However, this is very important when drifting, as it influences the restoring force of the steering wheel, the steering behavior and the fall in the steered state. With the set from MRT Engineering, you can easily adapt the caster to your needs. As a positive side effect, this also extends the wheelbase of your vehicle. This results in higher directional stability.

DETAILS

The E30/E36 sockets with hexagonal mount are required when using E46 wishbones on E30/E36 vehicles. The E46 sockets with a round mount are usually required for steering angle kits.

When using E36 wishbones on the E30, E36 M3 steering knuckles are also required in order to be able to use the full adjustment range.

Aftermarket wishbones often have certain tolerances compared to original parts, so it may happen that the wishbone has to be adjusted slightly to accommodate it. You can find the sizes of the recordings in the table below.
