Factory differential bushings tend to be soft for comfort and provide a degree of play in the linkage. As a result, gas commands are transmitted sluggishly, since the force first migrates to the bearing. With harder bushings, throttle commands are given directly and without delay to the rear wheels.

Especially in drift and racing, these components are exposed to the most extreme loads, for which the OEM parts were not designed at all. Verkline's PU rear differential mount bushing is of course much more durable, reducing the risk of failure during competition.

Note: Audi have made two sizes of rear diff bracket housings, the Verkline bracket fits the larger housing, the smaller housing is 0,5mm smaller in diameter and therefore requires light machining (grinding).
