WAGNER TUNING Competition intercooler kit Evo2 suitable for BMW E8X E9X

The competition intercooler EVO 2 has the following net dimensions (520x210x150/stepped 13.572cm³) and thus offers an 85% larger inflow area and 90% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high-performance net is a high-quality tube fin net with internal turbulators. Despite its size, the overall weight of the intercooler is only 7,4kg.

The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized with the help of flow analyzes in the CFD system. The original click connections have been eliminated and the connection diameters at the input and output have been increased to Ø70mm. Therefore, the kit includes 2 reinforced silicone hoses. The intercooler kit EVO 2 was developed directly for the high demands of the BMW N54 & N55 engines. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest back pressure. In addition, all Wagner intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Complete ready-to-install kit, the assembly is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to do. Tested up to 6 bar and stable under pressure.

In order for the EVO 2 version to fit in all specified vehicles, minor adjustment work must be carried out.
Additional adjustment work on the underbody paneling is required for vehicles with an M package.
