The EVO 1 intercooler has the following net dimensions (520x210x130/11.750 cm³ in stages) and thus offers an 85% larger inflow area and 60% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The performance high-performance mesh is a high-quality bar and plate mesh with very good cooling properties. Due to the high proportion of material, the performance version has a weight of 9,0kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized with the help of flow analyzes in the CFD system.

The EVO 1 intercooler kit is suitable for the first performance stages of the BMW 35i engines. This intercooler causes less back pressure than the standard intercooler. In addition, all Wagner intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Complete, ready-to-install kit, simply replace with the standard intercooler - plug and play. The original charge air hoses can still be used. Tested up to 6 bar and stable under pressure.
