THE PERFECT SOLUTION
A big unsolved problem for the Toyota 1JZ-GTE | 2JZ-GTE engines is the upper water neck - especially when replacing. It's bulky, difficult to manufacture, and just doesn't make sense for most setups. Also in the factory JZ chassis. The outlet on the engine, the number of things needed to be attached to it considering the internal dimensions made developing a compact solution extremely challenging.
The bottom bolt for the water neck goes right through the path that Chase Bays wanted the outlet to face. If you run a long bolt all the way through this part, the neck needs to be raised an additional 1,5" which wasn't what Chase Bays intended. After many designs a better solution was found. This requires the bottom port to a small spade This allows the neck to be slid over the Allen bolt and then slid in.
The Chase Bays Upper Water Neck is an extremely compact solution to an ongoing unsolved problem in the JZ community. It's machined from 6061 billet aluminum, blasted smooth, and then anodized UV-resistant Signature Semi Gloss Black. The neck is equipped with numerous exits, but it has been aligned in such a way that everything remains uncluttered.

The 4AN ORB port on the side directs the coolant to your turbo. There are 3 connections for this in the box of your order:
• 4AN ORB round head port connector
• 4AN ORB to 1/4 barb for regular push-on hose to turbo coolant line
