This Mishimoto BMW aluminum water cooler is the ideal upgrade for your standard water cooler. It was designed and developed to maximize cooling efficiency, improve engine functions and protect your vehicle from overheating. Regardless of whether you use your BMW for daily trips or only use it on the racetrack: installing an upgrade water cooler is essential if you want to counteract engine failure due to overheating.
IMPROVED ENGINE PERFORMANCE & PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING
The Mishimoto Radiator features a lightweight mesh, 100% heat brazed aluminum and TIG welded polished end tanks. The performance of your engine is increased.
This water block is a direct OEM replacement, making installation hassle-free as no cutting or modification is required. A 1,3 bar high-pressure water cooler cap is also included in the scope of delivery. The radiator cap raises the boiling point of the coolant, thereby creating a higher margin of acceptable temperatures and creating a safer and more efficient cooling system. A magnetic Mishimoto drain plug is also included, which collects metallic fragments that circulate in the cooling circuit and thus protects your engine.
MEASUREMENTS
Attention: Not suitable for 4 cylinder engines.
Note: This cooler is for manual transmission and automatic transmission vehicles. The water cooler features threaded metal studs for the automatic shifter cooler.
On the BMW E30, the cooler is only suitable for manual gearshifts.
The Mishimoto cooler also fits the BMW Z3. Some customers have also installed it in the V8 conversion. All you have to do is use the radiator mount on the passenger side of the Z3M.
