This Mishimoto aluminum water cooler is the ideal upgrade for your standard water cooler. It was designed and developed to maximize cooling efficiency, improve engine functions and protect your vehicle from overheating. Regardless of whether you use your Subaru Forester XT for daily trips or only use it on the race track: installing an upgrade water cooler is essential if you want to counteract engine failure due to overheating.

IMPROVED ENGINE PERFORMANCE & PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING

The Mishimoto Radiator features lightweight dual mesh, 100% brazed aluminum, and polished end tanks. The water cooler has a 30% larger coolant capacity. This Mishimoto water cooler is a direct OEM replacement, making installation hassle-free as no cutting or modification is required. A 1,3 bar high-pressure water cooler cap is also included in the scope of delivery. This radiator cap raises the boiling point of the coolant, thereby creating a higher margin of acceptable temperatures, creating a safer and more efficient cooling system.
A magnetic Mishimoto drain plug is also included, which collects metallic fragments that circulate in the cooling circuit and thus protects your engine.

Note: This product is for manual transmission vehicles. Please use the NPT plug only for 04-05 years of construction, the union nipple for 06-08 years of construction!

The included Mishimoto water cooler cap should be used to replace the manufacturer's cap on the tank extension. The manufacturer water cooler cap, which connects to the water cooler, should be used for the Mishimoto Performance water cooler. The Mishimoto water cooler cap is a two-way valve, while the manufacturer water cooler has one-way valve. Because of this design difference, the Mishimoto water cooler cap cannot be used for this water cooler, which may cause overheating.
