The Nuke Performance AluCell Tank is also suitable for use with carburetor-based fuel systems and Nuke Performance's integrated CFC unit. This eliminates the need for an external catch tank / surge tank that is otherwise required when operating a fuel tank, making it a perfect alternative for fuel injected systems. INTEGRATED 2L SURGE TANK WITH HOLDER FOR UP TO TWO PUMPS
The AluCell aluminum racing tank comes with the Nuke Performance CFC Unit. Nuke Performance's CFC Unit is the perfect solution for a simplified, high-performance fuel system where simplicity and durability are paramount.
This design eliminates the need for a bulky external surge tank / catch tank as all fuel pumps are mounted inside the tank. This saves space, weight and increases safety as fewer fuel line connections are required and no need to use external fuel pumps.
INTERNAL HIGH PRESSURE PUMPS FOR EVERY PURPOSE
The AluCell Tank comes with the Nuke Performance CFC Unit with integrated Fuel Surge Tank and fits with a single or dual high pressure fuel pump combination from Deatschwerks, AEM, Ti Automotive, Walbro, Bosch, Fuelab, Aeromotive and many other manufacturers.
It will fit all standard 39mm fuel pumps as well as the larger Deatschwerks DW400, Walbro GST450/GST520, Bosch BR540 and Aeromotive Stealth 450. Thanks to the internal expansion tank, this solution is able to deliver an even flow of fuel for requirements between 200 and 2000 hp without that fuel starvation occurs, even under demanding driving conditions.
The single fuel pump mounted in the fuel tank acts as a pickup/pre-supply fuel pump, ensuring the high pressure fuel pumps always have enough fuel in the oversized 2 liter Surge Tank to maximize fuel flow and minimize the risk of starvation.
FAST AND EASY INSTALLATION
The CFC Unit comes with everything needed to install the fuel pumps. However, we recommend ordering one of the Nuke Performance fuel pump mounting kits for optimal functionality. All fuel pumps are firmly and securely mounted in all conditions thanks to the brackets.
The CFC unit is available with a choice of a Dash 10/-10 AN to Dash 8/-08 AN male and Dash 10/-10 AN male thread, as well as a Dash 8/-08 AN to Dash 8/-08 male return connection equipped.
The use of the oversized Dash 10/-10 AN high flow outlet combines the internal fuel pumps into a single fuel line, minimizing the need for external pumps, hoses and fittings.
The roll-over proof vent connections are from Dash 6 / -06 AN and can be exchanged for Dash 8 / -08 AN to Dash 10 / -10 AN if required. Additional Dash 6 / -06 AN to Dash 12 / -12 AN adapter fittings are available as an option.
The use of highly corrosion-resistant 5083 H111 aluminum eliminates the need for internal anodizing or powder coating (often found in cheaper fuel cells) which are adversely affected by alcohol fuels such as ethanol. This will prevent damage to your injectors and filters if the coating dissolves.
