The high-performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (600mm x 260mm x 100mm) and thus offers a 87% larger inflow area and 70% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh provides the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, with sufficient airflow and is also very light.
The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using flow analyzes in the CAD system. With the help of integrated air baffles, the intercooler is evenly filled, which enables excellent cooling properties with low back pressure. Thanks to the new Competition high-performance network, the intercooler weighs only 11,2 kg. It is installed at the original attachment points and is plug & play. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance! 66mm inlet and outlet.
